Exterior of school of medicine

Overview

HCCI collaborates with medical schools, residency programs, and training programs for nurses and physician assistants to offer learning meaningful activities and resources to engage and develop future clinicians to meet the growing demand for HBPC. Online courses and other resources are tailored to complement the training program’s existing curriculum and prepare future clinicians to deliver home-based care.
Training Programs Benefits & Outcomes

Benefits and Outcomes

  • Provides future clinicians with meaningful exposure to the field of home care medicine and its role in fulfilling better patient outcomes, lower costs, and enhanced clinician career satisfaction.
  • Delivers convenient, on-demand learning content 24/7 via a co-branded online training platform.
  • Trains early career providers in how to best treat medically complex or seriously ill patients in their homes.

How it Works

Step 1

Discuss with our team your specific needs and select courses and resources from HCCI’s nationally recognized curriculum.

Step 2

Execute a subscription agreement and offer residents and trainees self-paced courses and resources to augment your own training curriculum in home-based care or care for home-limited older adults.

Step 3

HCCI will administer pre- and post-training surveys and provide a results summary (annually or upon request).
