Description

With the usage of value-based care models growing, the need for home-based primary and palliative care is on the rise. In many programs across the country, though, these two models have operated separately. There is, however, an increasing need for them to work more closely together to increase access to holistic, seamless care for patients further upstream that can improve outcomes and reduce cost. During this session, Optimizing Efficiency in House Call Operations (third in a four-part series), you will learn the functions performed by the front office and back office within a house call program and the various types of professionals who perform them. You will also discuss the wide spectrum of processes and technologies available to improve your operational workflow, including geographic scheduling, DME referral coordination strategies, and options for diagnostic and operations technology to improve patient care, efficiency, and staff safety.
